Book Club
Volunteers needed for this unique happening where students and their parents read and discuss a book together during the evening at school
Enrichment Committee
Be a part of facilitating outside performances geared towards enriching each grade level’s academic pursuits
Learning To Look
Art Appreciation taught by parents. Don’t worry if you don’t know Monet from Manet, we’ll supply the lesson plans. Culminates in a trip to the Met in NYC
Media Center
Volunteers needed for various duties in our own library. Once a week or once a month, it’s up to you
New Parent Partnership
Sign up to be a ‘mentor’ to an incoming parent
One-On-One Tutoring
Help enrich a student’s learning experience and make a real difference in their lives. All it takes is one hour a week – you pick the day and time
Parent Workshops
Help out at all or one of the series of workshops aimed at getting parents more involved in their child’s education. Academic and social issues will be topics.
School Newspaper
Volunteers needed to help out our 4th and 5th grade newspaper staff
Spirit Sale
Show your school spirit with various Davenport logo apparel. Assist in the distribution of flyers and products
Technology Committee
Assist in evaluating the technology needs of the school and analyzing how the PTO can best meet those needs
Student Council
Assist our children in learning how the student government works at Davenport.  NEW!
Davenport Community Partnership Assist us in coordinating "shopping days" or "eating days" with community businesses to raise revenue for Davenport School.
